Welcome to the HAA website

The Hertfordshire Association of Architects (HAA) is a branch of the Royal Institute of British Architects, and supports all RIBA Chartered Architects and Practices in the boroughs of Broxbourne, Dacorum, East Herts, Hertsmere, North Herts, St Albans, Stevenage, Three Rivers, Watford and Welyn Hatfield.

The HAA was founded in 1929, since when it has sought to promote high standards in design. Since its inception a design review panel of architects has operated to advise Local Authorities on design and materials, and the HAA has also operated a scheme of design awards for good local design. We organise talks, building visits and seminars on architecture for architects, young people and the general public, with many of the events being held in interesting Hertfordshire buildings. If you are interested in architecture and would like to attend any of our events, please refer to our ‘events’ page.
